Artists 18 years and older register and pay a $10 fee.  Artists who applied to River Towns Plein Air 2026 can participate for free.  They set up at the Cherry Blossom Festival and paint the scenes (people, tents, musicians, alpacas, etc.). 

Each artist must have their pieces completed, framed, wired and hung from their easel on Waterford Ave right next to Shank's Tavern by 4pm.  Artwork labels can be picked up at the registration table. 

Starting at 4pm, the public will be able to purchase the displayed art.  Marietta Area Business Association takes a 30% commission on all sales and is responsible for collection and payment of PA sales tax.  Checks for 70% of the purchase price will be mailed to the artists at a later date.  Artwork must remain in place until the awards are announced.
